Well, I decided to order Obama's books after all and check out the below-mentioned quotes, particularly the one about the Muslims, for myself--partly out of sheer curiosity and partly because I do believe in going to the original source whenever possible.  (The one exception was when I was denied the right to use the Bible in a public university speech class once because "the Bible is a book of faith".  I had to use a secondary source which quoted the Bible.)

 

In any event, I have not received the books yet but will report back when I do.  In doing Internet research in the interim, however, I am finding that the Muslim quote has apparently been "changed" in more recent editions of "The Audacity of Hope".  Nevertheless, I was able to find a used copy of what I believe is the original edition.
